Terms of Service

Version 1.0 of 15 October 2026

These Terms govern the use of the sandr.tv website and the SANDR.tv app (together, the “Platform”). They apply to people who watch without an account and to people who create an account; to create an account you must accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

This is version 1.0, written by SANDR: a lawyer is reviewing it and any changes will come out in a new version, as explained in the section on changes. How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

1. Who provides the service

The Platform is provided by Emanuele Giartosio, a partner of SANDR, acting as an individual until the company is incorporated (the “Provider”, “we”). Address: Via Angelo Bascape 7, 27058 Voghera (PV), Italy; tax code GRTMNL89S29H501Q.

Contacts: info@sandr.tv for the service, privacy@sandr.tv for personal data. When the company that will run SANDR is incorporated, the service will move to the company: we will tell you and these Terms will be updated with its details.

2. What SANDR.tv is

SANDR.tv is a live streaming platform for beach volleyball and other sand sports. On the website you find live streams from the courts, tournament schedules, results and athlete profiles. Full schedules and results of some tournaments stay on their sources' websites, which we link to.

There is one SANDR.tv app, for viewers and for the authorised people who stream from the court. It is a viewing-only app: nothing can be bought in the app and there are no prices, subscriptions or links to payments.

3. Access to live streams, free

After a free preview you may be asked to create a free account to keep watching the live streams. In that case, without an account you see a 2-minute preview, once every 24 hours, for all live streams together.

Today the Platform is free: there are no subscriptions, event passes or other purchases, we do not ask you for payments and we do not keep payment data. If some pages present paid plans as “coming soon”, they are only announcements: they cannot be bought.

4. Launch offer

For the launch of SANDR.tv we offer 6 months of free viewing to people who sign up early. These are the conditions of the offer:

  • Who is entitled: anyone who creates a SANDR.tv account by 23:59 on 4 November 2026, Italian time, and still has it when the offer starts. If you sign up with email and password you must verify the address, otherwise the account is deleted after 7 days and the offer is lost.
  • What it includes: 6 months of full viewing without paying, meaning access to the viewer content that will be part of SANDR.tv's paid plans.
  • From when: the 6 months start on the day we activate the paid plans, currently expected in March or April 2027. Before the start we will write to your account address with the date.
  • No cost: we will not ask you for payment details for the offer. At the end of the 6 months free access ends and we charge you nothing. To keep watching paid content you will have to choose a plan yourself, under the terms of sale in force at that time.
  • It is personal: it is tied to your account, cannot be transferred to others and cannot be exchanged for money or other benefits. It is lost if you delete your account before the offer ends or if we close the account for a breach of these Terms.
  • If paid plans never started, the offer would give no right to other benefits or compensation.

We plan to activate subscriptions and event passes from March or April 2027. First we will publish separate terms of sale, with prices, duration, payment, renewal and right of withdrawal, and you will accept them before buying. Purchases will be made on the website, not in the app.

These Terms do not oblige you to buy anything. The Privacy Policy will be updated before payments are activated.

6. Account and personal area

You can create an account with Google, Apple or with email and password. You must be at least 14 years old, give us true data and accept these Terms. With email and password you must verify the address with the link we send you: if you do not do so within 7 days, we delete the account.

Credentials are personal: do not share them and tell us immediately if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens with your account.

From the personal area, on the website and in the app, you can edit your name and language, choose whether to receive marketing emails and delete your account whenever you want. Deletion is final: how it works is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Accounts of administrators, staff, operators and commentators are enabled by the people who run SANDR, with an assignment linked to an edition and, sometimes, to a court and a period.

7. Staff, operators and commentators

The streaming area of the app and the commentary stations are reserved for authorised people. If you are one of them, you agree to:

  • stream only from the court and camera assigned to you, and only during the matches of the edition;
  • not share or show streaming keys and station addresses, and to tell us immediately if you think others have seen them;
  • respect the people being filmed and heard, minors in particular, and the instructions of the organiser and the production team;
  • commentate fairly, without insults, discrimination or personal information about athletes and spectators, remembering that your voice goes live and, if the administration turns it on for an event, is recorded;
  • not use the camera or microphone outside the tournament and not record for other purposes.

Your assignment may expire or be revoked at any time. Any working relationship with staff members is governed separately.

8. How you may use the Platform

You may watch the live streams and browse the content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • record, download, copy or rebroadcast the live streams, in whole or in part, or publish them elsewhere;
  • get around protections, the preview or other access limits, or use or spread video stream addresses and expiring links beyond your personal use;
  • collect content or data automatically (scraping), or overload the servers;
  • try to access restricted areas, other people's accounts or the streaming systems;
  • use the Platform for unlawful purposes, to harass anyone or to infringe the rights of others;
  • use the content to train artificial intelligence systems or for commercial activities without our written consent.

To relay or use footage of a tournament, write to us first at info@sandr.tv.

9. Content and intellectual property

The SANDR.tv brand, the website, the app, the graphics and the software belong to us or to their respective owners. Footage remains subject to the rights of SANDR and the organisers; schedules, results, names and brands of tournaments, federations and sponsors belong to their respective owners. These Terms do not transfer any right to you, apart from the personal-use permission described above.

Athletes' names, images and sports data are processed as explained in the Privacy Policy. If you believe some content infringes one of your rights, write to privacy@sandr.tv or info@sandr.tv: we assess it and, where appropriate, remove it.

10. Filming and privacy

Matches are filmed and broadcast live. Anyone who enters the courts may appear in the images and the ambient audio. How we process data, how to ask us to hide a name or an image and what applies to minors is explained in the Privacy Policy.

11. Service availability

We do our best to make the live streams work, but we cannot guarantee that they are always available, without delays or interruptions. A live stream may be missing, drop or change for technical, network or weather reasons or because the organiser decides so. The video arrives a few seconds after the action on the court.

Schedules, times, courts and results come from organisers, federations and the fivbeach.com platform and may change or contain errors. The on-screen score may not match the video to the second.

We may change, suspend or close parts of the Platform, even without notice when needed for security or maintenance.

12. Suspension and closure of the account

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, for example because it gets around the preview, spreads video stream addresses or tries to access restricted areas. Except for urgent security reasons, we write to you first with the reason and you can reply. You can close your account whenever you want.

13. Liability

The service is free and provided as is, with no guarantee that it is continuous or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, loss of opportunities or outages caused by events outside our control, such as your connection, network providers or the blocking of third-party services.

The rights the law grants you that cannot be excluded remain unaffected, including consumer rights, as does liability that cannot be limited, such as liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Back to contents

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms, for example after the lawyer's review, when the company is incorporated or when we activate paid services. Each version has a number and a date, shown at the top.

If you have an account, the personal area shows the version you accepted and the one in force. If a change reduces your rights we will email you at least 15 days before it applies; if you do not accept it you can delete your account before that date. Changes required by law, or that concern only new features, may apply immediately.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer resident in another European Union country, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of that country.

For disputes with a consumer, the competent court is that of the place where the consumer resides or is domiciled, if in Italy. In other cases the court established by law applies.

If you have a problem, write to info@sandr.tv: we first try to solve it together. You can also use the alternative dispute resolution procedures provided by the Italian Consumer Code. The European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was closed on 20 July 2025 by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, which is why we do not refer to it.
